The Alumni Challenge
Raising the Curtain on a New Era of Arts at Miami Country Day School

Kevin KingThe impact of Miami Country Day School’s alumni is seen every day on our campus. Over 3,600 alumni have paved the way for the current successes of our school. During this transformational time in the school’s history, alumni have the opportunity to help raise the curtain on a new era of Arts at Country Day. The Alumni Challenge will create unparalleled opportunities for students, support the teachers that built the arts programs, and affirm the mission of Miami Country Day School.

Our alma mater is currently fundraising for a Campaign for the Arts to build a facility that will transform our campus, our program and our community. Miami Country Day School’s commitment to the education of the whole child means that the arts are not considered extracurricular. The arts are essential to the school’s Mission. Considering this and current facilities, it is very clear that the area where there is the greatest and most immediate opportunity to impact the lives of our students is in the Arts.

How do you become part of our latest masterpiece? We ask all alumni who are inspired by this initiative to consider being part of the Alumni Challenge! Please contact Nora Pardave, Senior Development Officer at 305-779-7299.

“I became Chair of the Alumni Challenge because I want to give back to our school that gave me so much. As a student, I had unique experiences in the spring musicals, music competitions and programs to give back to the community. As a musician, I had a peaceful space where I could be an individual and develop friendships with classmates with similar passions. I had wonderful teachers, like John Wicker and Sandi Lewis, who make a difference each day in so many students’ lives. I enjoy giving back to our school because I hope that the students today will be able to have an even better experience with a transformational space on campus designed specifically for the arts.” ~ Kevin J.
